How does Generic Viagra work?
As a PDE inhibitor, Viagra (Sildenafil) allows for the increase of blood flow through blood vessels into the penis when a man gets sexually stimulated. With the increase in blood flow, erection is achieved and as blood is retained, erection is maintained.
Viagra, however, is not a cure-all for ED; it is also not a guarantee for increasing stimulation or sexual urges and desires. Viagra is not used as a birth control drug and thus will not prevent pregnancy. It is also not a safe-sex drug and will not prevent the spread or transfer of STDs (or sexually transmitted diseases) like HIV AIDS.
